Steve DeLaRosa’s Chimichuri Sauce

 

Steve had always made his famous Chimichuri Sauce with regular extra-virgin olive oils, UNTIL he tried it with Winterhills Garlic Olive Oil. He offered it to his wife without letting her know he had made a change and she could not believe how even more delicious it was, she wanted to know what he had done differently. Steve tells me it was “incredible” and he his signature recipe is now changed forever……

1 Bunch Fresh Cilantro

1 Bunch Fresh Basil

1 Bunch Fresh Flat Leaf Parsley

1 ½ - 2 Cups Soy Sauce

Winterhill Garlic Olive Oil

Dried Red Chile Flakes to taste

Combine: Herbs, chile flakes, and soy sauce in a food processor. Slowly add the garlic olive oil. Process until you have a smooth sauce. Marinate chicken, fish or pork, then grill.

YUM!
